Space Shuttle Wireless Sensor Monitoring Highlights Wireless Sensing Solutions Conference

IDG World Expo, who is sponsoring the Wireless Sensing Solutions Expo in Chicago on September 27-28, just announced that a featured session will be a case study on how wireless sensor networks are being used to monitor the space shuttle.

Unfortunately, that is all the article says about how wireless sensor networks are monitoring the space shuttle. However, the article does give a number of examples of recent successful sensor network deployments, including wireless fire extinguishers, wireless chemical process monitoring, and highway and bridge monitoring to name a few. The conference will explore these, and other oppportunities, applications, and successful deployments.

Here is the link to the conference webpage.
